Patience is the key to success

BENGALURU: PKC Laundries founded in Dec’15 is the first ever online laundry services company in Hyderabad. The company currently offers washing, ironing, dry cleaning and darning services in standard and tailored packages.

Being the first entrant in the online laundry sector, it took time for us to raise awareness among customers and gain their acceptance. It took us over six months to gain the trust of customers.

We did it through word-of-mouth campaign across gated communities and villas. Our quality service and on-time delivery helped us win customer loyalty. The word spread like wildfire and the flow of orders picked pace.

For an entrepreneur to succeed, it’s important to be focused and aim on the target. The dynamics of a startup change rapidly with new employees, customers, funding, competition, etc. In our experience, patience and determination were crucial in those initial stages. And teamwork is absolutely essential in the success of a startup.
