6 per cent rise in PUC II supplementary results

BENGALURU: The pass percentage of second year pre-university course students, who had appeared for the supplementary exams, has improved by 6 per cent. During 2016 supplementary exams, the pass percentage was 20.87, while it has increased to 26.34% this year. The number of candidates appeared for 2017 supplementary exams was 2,51,781, of which 66,320 managed to pass.

Results are available on www.karresults.nic.in and www.puc.kar.nic.in and the same will be published at the respective colleges on Wednesday. Those who wish to apply for the revaluation can apply before August 3 by paying D1,260 per subject. Revised marks will be considered final and the same will be published. No request to retain the old marks will be entertained. It is also mandatory for the candidates to get a scanned copy of the answer script before applying for revaluation.

Those students who have cleared supplementary exams in science streams are now eligible to participate in the next round of counselling/seat allotment conducted by (KEA) for undergraduate professional courses seats.
