BENGALURU: A deceased 38-year-old man helped save at least five lives after his organs were transplanted to different patients.
His heart was transported through a green corridor arranged by the traffic police where the ambulance traversed a distance of 25 km from Manipal Hospital to Narayana Health City, in just 19 minutes. The man, who was declared brain dead on Wednesday, met with a road accident on March 2.
