BENGALURU: A 28-year-old security guard was stabbed to death at Vidyaranyapura here on Thursday night.
According to the police, Dayanand Joshi (28) was stabbed through the heart on Thursday night. The deceased, a native of Nepal, was residing in Challaghatta. He was deployed as a security guard at Embassy Golf Links in Domlur had quit his job recently, with November 14 being his last working day.
On Friday morning, a resident of Vidyaranyapura alerted the police about Joshi’s body lying in an open plot.
However, police suspect that Joshi was killed somewhere else, and his body was brought to the site.
