CHENNAI: Wednesday evening, Rain Tree restaurant at Taj Connemara was abuzz with models, celebs and socialities. The event: A fashion show by designers Julie Verghese, Ashoka and Sidney SS. Top models like Aaliyah Mohamed, Nioosha Beatris and Saahitya (Miss Chennai 2009) walked the ramp with city's celebrities. Tan Ngaronga, COO, Sathyam Cinemas was the cynosure of all eyes as he walked for Julie as her showstopper.
The hosts Paloma Rao and Cary Edwards in their inimitable humour kept the audiences in splits. All in all, it was an evening of glitz, glamour and all that jazz.
