Dhwani Rao believes that the power of gratitude attracts goodness in life.
How do you define your relationship with God?
Like many, I have also been bought up in a religious family, taught to pray every morning and evening before I crash. And I do it too, in fact. By praying I feel closer to God or that spiritual power that can calm and sustain me. It’s in moments of trial that we should remember the power of gratitude. Be grateful to the little joys of life. So, you can say that I am spiritual not religious
Do you practice spirituality through any particular method?
Prayer and the power of gratitude is all you need to be spiritual. You would definitely feel closer to God when you thank Him for the good things that have happened or remember Him while facing trials. I think the power of gratitude is an undermined aspect of spirituality. Being thankful changes your outlook of life. That would be the best way to attract goodness in life.
Do you visit pilgrimage sites?
The last I went to a pilgrimage site was Thirupathi at the age of four! And I am pretty sure that I wouldn’t be going back if not for a family occasion. When you go to a temple, you might have umpteen things running in your head. Then the point of going to a spiritual place is lost! Faith takes you to the spiritual state of mind.
