Spiritual practices
While my husband Prajin is a Hindu, I’m a Christian.
We both visit the church as well as the temple. I like Lord Ganesha and he is my favourite. I would say our marriage was possible because of God. We were in relationship for more than two-and-a-half years, but our families were against it.
I prayed to the Velankanni maatha that I would offer her a golden thread. Just after a week I had offered the thread, I got married.
Understanding of God
God is my friend, and also enemy at times. But I would say my husband is my God, because he gives me whatever I ask for. He has fulfilled all my wishes. That apart, by praying God, one gets more energy. That positive energy would help one to achieve his/her goals. He protects everyone, and if your dreams are not coming true, it only means that he has kept something better for you, and that may be more than what you had dreamed of.
But as far as I’m concerned, God always listens to my prayers, and makes all my wishes come true.
Favourite pilgrimage spots
As a child, I used to go to the church with my family. Nowadays, I go to the Mahalingapuram temple with my husband.
We also go to the Velankanni Church. I like spending more time at the temple and the church.
