A 20-member team headed by Thirunavukkarasu, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, conducted a surprise check at Inigo Irudayaraj house at Neelankarai, and at Christuva Nallenna Iyakkam (CNI) run by him at Nandambakkam.

Inigo Irudhayaraj was the chairman of the CNI.

“We have seized incriminating documents including details of the bank accounts of Anbarasan, which were kept in the house and CNI of Inigo Irudhayaraj,” said Thirunavukkarasu.

The DVAC team raided the houses and business premises of Anbarasan and his relatives in Chennai and Cuddalore on September  29  on a tip off that he had allegedly accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
