CHENNAI: Veteran director and producer, Karan Johar is the new face of Lloyd. The multi-talented actor-cum-director-cum-producer-cum-TV anchor joined hands with the company in August this year and will feature in all its promotions from now on.

“We could have got a pretty or a popular face as our brand ambassador, but we chose Karan Johar as he is one of the leading directors of the Indian film industry and also a perfectionist. He understands the importance of picture quality and life-like sound.

Similarly, Lloyd is committed towards enthralling its customers with best-in-class picture quality and life-like sound, thus making this partnership a dynamic combination in the market place. We are sure this relationship with Karan Johar will bring a lot of credibility to our brand,” says Nipun Singhal, President, Lloyd Electric & Engineering Ltd.

Karan Johar will be seen promoting Lloyd in a series of TVC’s. The first of the succession of the campaign will kick-off with an array of advertising appearances, events, retail promotions and PR activities. “Lloyd brand products appeal to me because they are passionate about bringing world-class technology to India. It feels great to be associated with a brand that believes in the magic of cinema,” says Karan Johar.
