Special trains to Tiruvannamalai

The following special trains will be operated to Tiruvannamalai to clear the extra rush for Karthigai Deepam festival.

According to a press release, T No 06033 Chennai Central – Tiruvannamalai special will leave Chennai Central at 10.10 hrs on November 27 and 28 and arrive at Tiruvannamalai at 16.15 hrs on the same day. T No 06034 Tiruvannamalai – Chennai Central special will leave Tiruvannamalai at 20.30 hrs o­n November 27 and 28 and arrive Chennai Central at 02.15 hrs the next day.

The trains will stop at Perambur, Tiruvallur, Arakkonam, Sholingur, Walajah Road, Mukundarayapuram, Katpadi, Vellore Cantonment, Kaniyambadi, Kannamangalam, Arni Road, Polur, Agaram and Turinjapuram, the release added.  Apparently, T No 06810 Puducherry  – Tiruvannamalai special will leave Puducherry at 6.30 hrs on November 27 and 28 and arrive at Tiruvannamalai at 9.30 hrs on the same day. TNo 06809 Tiruvannamalai – Puducherry special will leave Tiruvannamalai at 20.00 hrs on November 27 and 28 and arrive Puducherry at 23.45 hrs on the same day. The trains will stop at Villianur, Chinnababusamudram, Valavanur, Villupuram, Venkatesapuram, Mambalapattu, Tirukoilur and Tandarai, the release said.

Also, T No 06812 Villupuram – Tiruvannamalai special will leave Villupuram at 14.25 hrs on November 27 and arrive Tiruvannamalai at 15.45 hrs on the same day. T No 06811 Tiruvannamalai – Villupuram special will leave Tiruvannamalai at 10.30 hrs on November 27 and arrive Villupuram at 12.30 hrs on the same day.

The trains will stop at Venkatesapuram, Mambalapattu, Tirukoilur and Tandarai. The release further added that the above special trains will comprise eight general second class (unreserved) compartments and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches.
