Express News Service

It’s not often that the mellifluous songs of the velvet-voiced Talat Mahmood are brought live on stage, especially in Chennai. On October 28, ‘Jalte hain jiske liye’ by Music Lovers Chennai will bring the quintessential romantic melodies of Talat in a musical tribute at the Museum Theatre, Egmore at 6.15 pm.

Recreating the golden moments fare Surojit Guha, and Sangeeta Melekar from Mumbai, music accompaniment is specially crafted for the programme.  The proceeds from the concert will  be sent to  old age home Vishranthi. Songs can be dedicated and sponsorships offered. Contact Lakshmi on 98840 98060 for further details and to book seats, contact Radha (9940092727) or Shanta Nayar (8939491769).
