DG Vaishnav students on a Chinese mission

Twenty five students of DG Vaishnav College’s Human Resource Management department left for China on a study tour.

According to a press note, the students of Masters in Human Resources Management (I shift) will be visiting multinational companies in Shanghai and Beijing to learn the subject of human resources.

Stating that the tour will facilitate the students to interact with the Chinese and understand the international HRD practices, the release said that during the tour, students would also visit the Great Wall of China, Tinanmen Square and Olympic Stadium.

Pointing out that China’s growth rate is expected to be at 4.6 per cent for 2012 by the IMF, the released said the most populous country had a good organisational work culture.

“As far as organisational culture is concerned, in most Chinese companies, employees from the CEO down to operational factory worker believe that harmony and loyalty should be maintained and confrontation avoided,” it stated.
