Express News Service

The Madras High Court has restrained the CB-CID from filing the final investigation report in the Dharmapuri caste violence case till April 20.

Earlier, special government pleader IS Inbadurai submitted that totally 11 criminal cases were registered against seven caste Hindus and four against persons belonging to Dalit community.

On of the petitioners submitted that many families were left out from payment of compensation by the government.

Since many petitioners had prayed for transfer of the case to the CBI, the bench said that it was restraining the CB-CID, presently probing the case, from filing the final report till April 20.
