Addressing a press conference here on Monday, the secretary of the Association, Paul Raja, said “although we appreciate the Government’s effort to crack down on the illegal activities in beach mineral mining, there are several parties who for no wrong of theirs have been forced to endure the consequences of the actions of a few”. According to Raja, the ban has resulted in losses for several companies who had not indulged in mining.
