Poorvika mobiles opens 200th Store on 10th b'day

Poorvika Mobiles, which started out as a small outlet in Kodambakkam with six employees in 2004, opened its 200th outlet in Palavakkam to mark its 10th anniversaryon Sunday.

Poorvika Mobiles, which started out as a small outlet in Kodambakkam with six employees in 2004, opened its 200th outlet in Palavakkam to mark its 10th anniversaryon Sunday.

With over 3,500 employees and 200 full-scale showrooms spread across the State, Poorvika mobiles is one of the largest mobile retailers in Tamil Nadu. The company from its beginning in Chennai now has spread throughout Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Karnataka.

Inaugurating the newest showroom, CEO of Poorvika N Uvaraj, along with managing director of Poorvika Kanni Uvaraj, said, “The 2,250-sq foot showroom in Palavakkam is a multi-brand outlet and will give customers increased choices in their ow neighbourhood.”

The chain was awarded the Power Brand Glams Las Vegas Award in the US in June 2013, the Channel King South Multi brand Retail - Gold Award and Best All India Retail Business Partner for Data Card Award - Reliance Communication over the past ten years, he revealed.
