CHENNAI: P N Dhawan Adarsh Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary school celebrated 60 years of its existence, at an event held at The Music Academy on Tuesday. Remembering the school’s first ever student and honouring him on its diamond jubilee took the celebrations a notch above. The occasion also marked the annual day celebrations of the school, whose meritorious students and teachers were felicitated by Governor K Rosaiah. The Governor gave away awards to three Plus Two and SSLC toppers and honoured teachers for their contribution. He lauded the school for providing quality education and nurturing the spirit of patriotism in its students.
