Rotary Donates Dialysis Machine

To help deserving, poor kidney patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, a dialysis machine worth `5 lakh was donated by the Rotary Club of Madras South to the Sri Matha Cancer Care Trust.

The machine was inaugurated at one of their hospitals in the city on Tuesday.

The machine was installed and inaugurated at the Trust’s hospital in Adyar by A P Kanna, district governor, Rotary International District 3230.

During the inauguration, he appreciated the efforts by the Trust, which provides free life-saving dialysis to thousands of marginalised people in society through such initiatives.

He also assured of continued support from the Rotary Club of South Madras to such social activities.
