Apply for Jap Scholarship

CHENNAI: Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan, is on the hunt to find 30 students from South India and provide them with an opportunity to attend a scholarship interview. Each student can get a scholarship of up to Rs 31 lakh, including 100 per cent of the tuition-fees at APU.

The student should be pursuing class XII and scored at least 75 per cent (State Board) or 7.5 grade point (CBSE) in Class X Board exams, to apply for the scholarship. Applicants should be actively involved in extracurricular activities.

Registration for the scholarship application is free. Students need to email s-india@apu.ac.jp with their name, school name, city, contact number, class X score, expected class XII score,  extracurricular report and a 500-word essay on the topic ‘Where do you see yourself 10 years from now and how do you think studying in Japan can help you?’ The details should be sent before 5 pm on November 9, 2014.
