Dora Inspires Little Ones to Draw

How would children feel, if Dora the explorer herself congratulates them for their good work in art? This was what Nick Jr India had in mind, while launching their campaign, ‘Go Creative,’ where the kids can sketch, paint or colour as part of their World Creativity and Innovation Week with Dora the Explorer.

The campaign aimed to inspire the little geniuses to unleash their creativity and provide them with a unique opportunity to showcase their talent. The drive was flagged off by Dora – The Explorer herself, inviting young minds to participate in this fun filled, innovative week from April 15 to 21.

At the end, a life-size Dora visited Chatrapathy Shivaji DAV Secondary School, Kodambakkam on Monday and rewarded the winners of the competition. Excited to see Dora amid them, kids from around the city got their paintbrushes and pencils ready to showcased the best masterpieces they’ve ever made as part of the event.

Commenting on the initiative, Nina Elavia Jaipuria, business head from Kids Cluster said, “Art is the most apt form of expression and children with their curious and creative minds have always enjoyed being a part of such interesting activities. The initiative is intended at spurring creativity and inspiring innovation among children. Our objective is to provide them a platform to bring out their sketches and an artistic Dora the Explorer is a seven-year-old girl who engages preschoolers in a play-along, adventure.”
