Sindhi Play Gets 1,000-strong Crowd

CHENNAI: Chennai’s Sindhi populace enjoyed a delightful comedy play that was staged at The Music Academy recently. The event saw a record attendance of over a 1,000-strong crowd for the cultural programme. The event was inaugurated by Shri Nandlal Pokardas, Chairman Sindhi Educational Society and his wife Uma Nandlal Wadhwa. President of Sindhi Chamber of Commerce, Rajalal Nichani, president of Sindhi Hindu Mandal, Ram Shevaram and the president of Sindhi Federation of South India, J C Prakash lauded the efforts of Deepak Chhabria for bringing this play to the city.
