CHENNAI: A special New Year prayer meeting was conducted at the St George’s Higher Secondary School on Sunday.
Bishop M Prakash, chairman of the State Minorities Commission, Pastor D Mohan, Bishop Dayanandan, several pastors and church elders participated in the meeting. Welcoming the New Year, a 40-feet cake was cut and distributed to all those present. Evangelist Paul Dhinakaran offered special prayers for people who had gathered and for the nation to be blessed. ‘Do you know your Bible’, a quiz compilation from the Bible by Stella Ramola, for children, was also released. Stella Dhinakaran and Evangeline Paul also participated in the meet.
