Kaakkum Karangal celebrates R-Day

CHENNAI: Ungalukagha Charitable Trust, an NGO celebrated  Republic Day along with 214 inmates of Kaakkum Karangal, an orphanage for aged destitutes and children. A large sized cake was cut by the inmates of the orphanage and distributed bed sheets, towels, medicines, note books and others. 100- year old Raja Muthu, a freedom fighter was honoured at the programme. The event was lead by Suneel, founder and managing trustee, Ungalukagha Charitable Trust. chief guest, K Shailaja Subba Reddy,   managing director,  Pallava Group of Companies lauded the effort taken  by Suneel . Dr M Maran, Surgeon, MCH Surgical Gastro Enterology and Gnanaraj, founder of Kaakum Karangal were present at the event. The Trust has earlier organised various health check-up camps
