CHENNAI: Featuring nine embroidery forms from across the country, Hands of India (HOI), is all set to unfold its timeless creations of exquisitely handcrafted apparels, at CP Art Centre, from today.

Working with 1200 artisans and 35 artisan groups from around the country, HOI unveils exemplary hand woven and hand-embroidered apparels and furnishings.

This year, they are also introducing a limited range of hand-embroidered tunics featuring Sujani embroidery from Bihar and English embroidery from West Bengal.

A whole new range of ready-to-wear western apparels from tunics, tops, trousers, palazzos, skirts, dresses and jackets are priced from Rs 690 onwards. Hand woven and hand-embroidered dupattas adorned with Chaikankari, Kantha, Phulkari and Pattiwork are also on sale. The main feature of the exhibition will be the vintage Chanderi sarees that are embellished with the extinct Ek-naali work.
