'Indulge in More Research'

CHENNAI: Mohamed Sathak A J College of Engineering, celebrated its 10th Graduation Day at Alhaj Dr S M Dasthagir Auditorium on the college premises recently. N Muthuveerappan, associate director, Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Bengaluru, who was the chief guest of the event, urged the students to work for the progress of rural India and develop products that will go a long way in making India a developed country. He emphasised that indulgence in research was part of such a development. As of today, only 0.4 per cent of Indian engineers are involved in research in our country, he said, addressing 236 graduates. Alhaj S M Mohamed Yousuff, chairman, Mohamed Sathak Trust,  and M Mohammed Sitheeq, principal, were present at the event.
