Thenkachi Swaminathan's Voice in a Book

CHENNAI: Thenkachi Ko Swaminathan, the late author, story-teller and a voice that boomed in the living rooms of all radio listeners in the 90s was given a fitting tribute in the form of a biography. Written in the language that he mastered in, Tamil, the book is titled Thenkachi - Kadhai Rajavin Kadhai and is written by Komal Anbarasan. The book reads excerpts from Thenkachi’s work instead of reading like a regular biography. The author Anbarasan’s extensive research and realistic portrayal of Thenkachi was commended by those present. BJP senior leader Ila Ganesa, Swami Vimurthananda, Director S P Muthuraman and literary figure Iniyavan were present among other dignitaries who shared anecdotes and memories of Thenkachi.
