CHENNAI: With an aim to promote knowhow on technology in the water sector, ‘Water Today’ publication’s Water Expo 2016 was kick-started in the city with an innovative showcase marking the 10th edition of the expo. It will provide a common forum for water experts and feature related new tech, products, services for automation, water management and conservation methods.
As many as 300 exhibitors, 5,000 products and 25,000 water experts are attending the expo. M S Swaminathan, founder of M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, inaugurated the expo on Thursday in the presence of S Shanmugham, managing director of Water Today, Rajamani, chairman of International Union of Environment Commission, Naina Shah, editor of Water Today, Dr Parasuraman and several other experts on the subject. An international conference - WATMAN 2016 is also to be held on Friday and Saturday.
