Decks Cleared for Posting of 6 HC Judges

President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday cleared names of six persons, four from the Bar and two from service, for appointment as judges of the Madras High Court. The four from the Bar are V Bharathidasan, S S Sundar, M V Muralidharan and D Krishnakumar. The two from the service are Registrar-General P Kalaiarasan and Chief Judge of Small Causes Court B Gokuldass, since retired. They will be sworn in as judges soon after the President issues the warrant. With this, the strength of the Madras High Court will rise to 40 judges. Here is a look at their profiles
