CHENNAI: A 28-year-old building contractor was brutally hacked to death by an armed gang at Mattan Kuppam, a fishermen hamlet, in Mylapore on Thursday in what is suspected to be an act of previous enmity.
Police said the victim, S Dayanidhi was rushed to a government hospital, where died within a few hours. According to police, the assailants were from the same locality and a search is on to nab them.
