The caretaker chief minister O Panneerselvam on Thursday is all set to make Poes Garden residence of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa as her memorial.
The CMO handle maintained by an OPS loyalist tweeted that the chief minister is to issue orders to turn Amma's house into her memorial.
Former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa bought the posh bungalow at Poes Garden in 1967. The bungalow was named 'Veda Nilayam' after her mother Vedavalli, whose screen name was Sandhya.
Other residences owned by Jayalalithaa were the Siruthavur farm house in Kancheepuram district and the Kodanadu Estates in Nilgiris district, to which she used to retreat from time to time.
