CHENNAI: The Hindustan Group of Institutions launched its third school here on Monday with the inauguration of Hindustan International School at Padur on the Old Mahabalipuram Road IT corridor. The Hindustan International school will have both the CBSE and Cambridge International Examination (CIE) streams. The group is already running two schools at Guindy and Karapakam.

“The best thing about the new school is that it has both the CBSE and CIE streams,” said school Principal Priyanka Ghosh. At present, the school admits students from LKG to Class 6. Ghosh said the unique feature of the school, set up in a five acre eco-friendly campus, is coaching in horse riding and archery. “The faculty is trained to teach using smart boards to make learning process enjoyable. We have separate English laboratory and Maths laboratory for intensive training,” Ghosh said adding that the school also provides space for games and sports. “We also have a science zone which is a unique learning space that is designed to arouse curiosity and stimulate creativity,” she said.
