CHENNAI: Air Customs on Saturday foiled a bid to smuggle 133 grams of gold worth Rs 6.93 lakh by a person who arrived from Dubai. Mohamed Saleem Sulthan, 32, of Madurai, was intercepted by Air Intelligence Unit officers. Two bundles of gold paste were recovered from his rectum. On extraction, 133
grams of gold was recovered and seized, a release stated.
