NEW DELHI:Commuters were left shocked after a 26 second long video showed a pornographic clip playing on one of the LED screens installed for passenger information at the Central Delhi’s busy metro station Rajiv Chowk.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has said that this screen was commissioned to a private contractor and further investigation is on.

In the amateur video one of the screens put up on a grid of 12 LED screens.

"We will check all the details of the testing and commissioning process of the contractor to check whether any such clip was played on the LED screen at Rajiv Chowk station and take adequate safeguards action," the DMRC said in a statement.

Further the DMRC said it has launched a probe into the case to find the authenticity of the video shot earlier this month to ascertain facts and take action against people who are responsible for the goof.

"This LED screen was under commissioning and testing by a private contractor and same is still under commissioning. The work is still not completed.
