Juvenile rapes a minor girl in Delhi's RK Puram

A seven-year-old girl has allegedly been raped by her juvenile neighbour in south Delhi's RK Puram area.

NEW DELHI: A seven-year-old girl has allegedly been raped by her juvenile neighbour in south Delhi's RK Puram area, police said today.     

The incident took place two days ago when the girl's mother saw her in tears asked her the reason, following which the victim narrated her ordeal, they said.     

Following which her mother made a call to police control room and the girl was later taken for examination to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that she had been sexually abused, police said.     

During investigation, the accused was identified to be a minor boy living adjacent to the victim's house in R K Puram Sector 1, they said, adding that he was apprehended and sent to a juvenile home.
