Say Vamsi what comes to mind is his love for Godavari. And his latest film `Gopi Gopika Godavari’ too runs in the backdrop of the river. The film has Venu and Kamalinee Mukherjee in the lead.
The film’s platinum disc function was held at a function at Film Nagar Cultural Centre in the city on Tuesday.
Chakri has composed the music.
Detailing the film, Kamalinee Mukherjee said besides good music it has pleasant entertainment.
Krishna Bhagawan, who plays an important role in the film, opined that a sense of nativity stands out in the films that come in Vamsi-Chakri combination.
Anandi Art Creations presents the film. Valluripalli Ramesh is producing the film under Maharshi Cinema banner. Venu, director Vamsi, Kondavalasa Lakshman Rao, Valluripalli Ramesh, Gemini Kiran, lyricist Ramajogaiah Shastry, Jeeva, singers Madhumita and Vasu were present on the occasion.
