HYDERABAD: Former Satyam Computers chairman B Ramalinga Raju was today discharged from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to which he had been admitted more than two months ago following a heart attack.

Ramalinga Raju, who has been lodged at the Chanchalguda Central Prison since the Satyam fraud broke out, was admitted to the NIMS on September 7 after he complained of chest pain. After conducting some tests, doctors advised him to go in for a surgery.

As it might take more time for the surgery, Raju was shifted back to the prison.
