Actor Aftab Shivdasani says he is happy with his performance in 1920-Evil Returns, a sequel to the 2008 film 1920.

The 33-year-old, who will be seen in the horror film for the first time, said he won’t say much about his performance and left the onus completely on the audience.

“This was a completely different type of movie from my earlier roles.

But I put everything to bring the character to life,” said Aftab.

The actor who had earlier acted in Bhatt productions like Kasoor and Awara Paagal Deewana, said his character was nicely portrayed by director Bhushan Patel in the movie, which also stars Tia Bajpai.

The film is under production stage, and is scheduled to release in June 2012.

Reiterating his wish to act in a Bengali film, Aftab said, “There are several directors I would love to work with.”
