HYDERABAD:  The three-day Indo-Global Education Summit being organised by the Indus Foundation will be held at Taj Krishna and Taj Deccan here from September 7-9.   The summit will have sessions on collaborative research, , faculty and student exchange and distance education programmes.

An important feature of the summit would be the presentation of  Indus Foundation awards to educational institutions in recognition of their services.  An education expo will also be held on the occasion.

More than 100 universities worldwide are expected to participate in the event. The delegate fee would  be Rs 3,000 up to June 30 after which it would be increased  to `4,000.

The curtain raiser for the event would be held on May 1 and it will be attended by deputy chief minister  C Damodar Raja Narasimha,  IT minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah,  secondary education minister K Parthasarathi.
