1 feared dead in hotel wall collapse

At least two persons were reportedly trapped under debris and three people severely injured when the wall of a Chinese restaurant collapsed on them here Tuesday.

According to the police, the wall of the Nanking Chinese Restaurant near Paradise Junction in Secunderabad collapsed around 10.30 p.m. At the time, at least 10 customers were having dinner inside and five staff were working in the kitchen.

Two of the staff members, Gopal and Himal, were reported missing and are suspected to be trapped under the debris. One of them is feared dead. Four others, Shiva, Ramesh, Raju and Leo, the owner of the restaurant were injured and were shifted to the Gandhi General Hospital.
