HYDERABAD: Valuable records, files and documents stored in Greater Hyderabad Municipal corporation office, Khairatabad, were gutted on Saturday.
According to the police, the fire broke out around 8 a.m. on Saturday. Security staff Srinivas, who came early to open the office, saw flames coming from room no 210 and alerted the authorities. Saifabad police doused the flames with the assistance of fire extinguishers. Police said that short circuit could be the reason for the incident.
