HYDERABAD: Investment proposals worth Rs 4.50 lakh crore have been received by the state government and 217 industries will come up in the state, minister for major industries J Geetha Reddy has said.

Briefing reporters here on Tuesday on the eve of the Industrial Partnership Summit, she said 4 lakh people would get employment in the proposed projects.

As many as 27 ministerial and 42 business delegation are participating in the summit. She said the chief minister reviewed the arrangements for the summit with all departments officials at his camp office. He  asked them not to leave any scope for complaints from the participants.

There will be PowerPoint presentation by the state government on January 12 with focus on tourism, IT and infrastructure sectors. The chief minister would meet some of the delegations on January 12, the first day of the summit.
