HYDERABAD: Veteran film actress Radha Kumari, who was known for her roles as mother and grand mother, passed away following cardiac arrest in Hyderabad on Thursday. She was 70.
She was wife of character actor and writer Ravi Kondala Rao. She acted in about 600 films spanning a period of four decades. She entered Telugu film industry in 1962 through Tene Manasulu directed by Adurthi Subba Rao.
Tollywood expressed grief over her death. She hailed from Vizianagaram district. Ravi Kondala Rao who is away in Dubai is returning to Hyderabad.
