April 30 deadline for renewal of trade licences

Express News Service

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has asked all the traders in the GHMC limits to renew their trade licenses for the year 2013-14 in any e-seva centres or citizen service centres (CSCs) in GHMC limits by April 30.

Traders who have not taken trade licenses so far should approach the nearest e-seva centres or the CSCs in GHMC circle offices to apply for trade licenses.

All traders have to apply for fresh license or renewal of their business by April 30 to avoid 25 per cent penalty for renewal and legal proceedings. GHMC officials informed that the traders have to pay 25 per cent of the license fee towards penalty in addition to the original amount if they renew their license between May 1 and June 30.

From July 1 the trader has to pay 50 per cent towards penalty in addition to the original trade license fee.

GHMC commissioner MT Krishna Babu said those who do not renew the trade license will be considered as un-licensed trades.
