Government creates 10 new revenue divisions

The state government on Wednesday constituted 10 new revenue divisions in the state based on public demand for initiating new divisions based on administrative purposes, as mentioned in the recent budget speech by finance minster Anam Ramanarayana Reddy.

The state government complied to the demands and renamed the existing revenue division of Ranga Reddy East as Saroornagar division.

The newly created  divisions are:  Devarakonda (Nalgonda),  Gurajala (Guntur),  Ramachandrapuram (East Godavari) Anakapalli (Visakhapatnam), Kalyandurg and Kadiri (Anantapur), Atmakur and Naidupet (Nellore), Rajendranagar and Malkajgiri ( Rangareddy).

The existing Rangareddy East Revenue division’s nomenclature has been changed changed to “Saroornagar Revenue Division”.
