The Cyberabad Cyber Crime police on Monday arrested a 22-year-old B.Tech student on charges of ‘fraudulently’ logging into her email account and creating her profile on porn websites.
After a complaint by the victim, who is also a college student, that she found emails with indecent comments, the police arrested one Goli Subhash Chandra Bose.
Police said that the victim lodged a complaint on Saturday in which she stated that she found some indecent and abusive comments in her email account.
According to the police, Bose hacked into the victim’s email account and put it up on porn websites, after which she received indecent emails from unknown people.
Allegedly, he also changed her secondary email address and phone number as well as put up the victim’s and her sister’s details on porn websites in order to harass them, the police said.
