Rama Naidu's grandson booked

A case has been registered against the grandson of Tollywood producer D Rama Naidu, D Abhiram, for allegedly assaulting a site manager of an under-construction building adjacent to his house in FIlm Nagar on Thursday night for causing disturbance.

Complaining about the noise from the site, Abhiram went to the place, picked an argument with the site manager, Ravi Teja, and abused him. As tempers ran high, Abhiram attacked Ravi Teja, threatened and detained him for an hour.

Cases under Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 447 (punishment for trespass), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) of IPC were registered by the Banjara Hills police against Abhiram, who is said to have become inaccessible after the incident. Ravi Teja was taken to hospital for treatment.
