HYDERABAD: The South Central Railway (SCR) will permanently augment six Express trains with additional AC coaches. These additional coaches will make available 768 berths additionally per week permanently.
Secunderabad-Rajkot tri-weekly express train will be augmented with one AC III tier coach with effect from June 16. Rajkot-Secunderabad tri-weekly express will also be augmented with one AC III tier coach with effect from June 18.
Secunderabad-Bikaner bi-weekly express will have an additional AC III tier coach with effect from June 17 while Bikaner-Secunderabad express will be augmented with one AC III tier coach with effect from June 20.
Secunderabad-Sainagar Shirdi bi-weekly express will be augmented with one AC III tier coach with effect from June 20 on Fridays only. Sainagar Shirdi-Secunderabad bi-weekly express will be augmented with one AC III tier coach with effect from June 21 on Saturdays only.
Fortress Check against Ticketless Travel
Secunderabad division of the SCR conducted a fortress check against ticketless and irregular travel at Warangal and Kazipet railway stations on Thursday.
A total of 940 persons were apprehended and an amount of Rs 4.32 lakh was realised towards penalty from these persons.
