HYDERABAD: The AP government has issued notification inviting applications for issue of licences for 4,380 liquor shops in the state.
According to sources, licenses would be awarded through a draw of lots where there are more than one application for shops.
There is no change in the license fee in the slabs of `32.5 lakh and `64 lakh.
There is a marginal increase in respect of three slabs. The `34 lakh slab has been raised to `36 lakh; `42 lakh slab to `45 lakh; and `46 lakh slab to `50 lakh.
The new licences will be effective from July 1 for a period of one year.
