n Cut out a variety of two inch circles and arrange them on your stool until you’re happy with the composition.

n Starting with the outside ring of circles, lay them on the stool and begin attaching them one by one using your adhesive and paintbrush.

nMake sure to put glue both under and over the paper.

nSmooth out any air bubbles and set aside to dry.

n Once that layer is dry to the touch which should take about 20 minutes, lay down the second ring of circles and apply in the same manner as the first circle.

nRepeat with the third circle, adding a final one inch circle to the very centre.

nFinish with at least two layers of royal coat over the entire stool, and let dry for at least 24 hours before use. You can also seal your stool with furniture wax or a waterproof varnish.
