HYDERABAD: A teacher of a private school in Vanasthalipuram area here was taken into custody on Saturday for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student and registered New Criminal Amendment (Nirbhya) Act against him.
The teacher, Kumar, reportedly misbehaved with the student at the annual function of the school. The student was preparing herself to participate in a cultural programme, when the teacher went to the room and bolted the door from inside. Later, he reportedly misbehaved with her. She informed the matter to her parents who in turn lodged a complaint with police.
