HYDERABAD: The state government on Monday notified the constitution of the first State Finance Commission for Telangana State under panchayat raj and rural development department. The state government issued orders to this effect on Monday. “In exercise of the powers conferred under Article 243-I of the Constitution of India read with sub-section(1) of Section 235 of the Telangana Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, as adapted in Telangana State Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Mandal) Department, on September 12, 2014, the governor of Telangana hereby constitute the State Finance Commission for the State of Telangana,” the notification issued by governor ESL Narasimhan said.
